Hello. My name is Jerome Maurey-Delaunay and I am the creative coder behind Count the Dots.
In August 2010, I bought an iPad to explore and work with this new platform. A week later our son Jean-Pierre, just 2 years old at the time, was navigating with ease around the iPad. We witnessed the power of the Touch interface for early development first hand.
Amazingly, Jean-Pierre was equally drawn to kids and experimental apps, like Thicket and SoundPrism. So, I set out to merge the two for Count the Dots with a simple goal: deliver a focused learning experience using Touch.
Count the Dots should appeal to very young children to learn numbers, shapes, notes and Touch. I hope you and your kids enjoy it!
